We recommend that you schedule your child’s first dental examination when they reach the age of 2, and following this, between every 3 and 12 months. Plaque can start to form on young teeth as soon as they emerge, and it’s important to implement a good oral health routine early – starting with that first tooth.

Like our adult dental plans, our children’s dental plans are provided by Denplan, the UK’s leading dental payment plan specialist. Our plans offer a way for you to spread the cost of your child’s dental care, whilst ensuring the best oral health is maintained and preventing problems before they start.
A regular monthly payment is paid by direct debit, to cover your routine dental examinations and hygiene appointments throughout the year.

Dr. Alexandra Bruce graduated with honors in Dentistry (BDS) from Sheffield University in 2013. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working in both private and NHS practices. She also completed a training post in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Luton and Dunstable Hospital before joining Two Mile Ash in September 2016.
Alexandra offers a wide range of treatments, including root canal therapy, composite restorations, Enlighten teeth whitening, and the Invisalign Clear Braces system. She is committed to providing high-quality dental care for both adults and children, always prioritizing her patients' well-being.
At Two Mile Ash, Alexandra dedicates her time to caring for new and existing patients.
Outside work Alexandra keeps active by playing badminton, running and going on long bike rides. She also enjoys winding down with a good movie with friends as well as doing cross stitch.

Adam graduated from Cardiff University Dental School in 2021 and began his career at a busy practice, providing NHS and private care for both children and adults. He later transitioned to a larger dental practice, where he focused more on private and cosmetic treatments and became a certified SmileFast provider.
Over the years, Adam has gained extensive experience and confidence across many areas of general dentistry, enjoying the variety that each day brings. He believes in treating every patient as an individual, working together to create tailored treatment plans that suit their unique needs.
While Adam offers a broad range of dental services, he has a particular passion for endodontics and restorative work, from simple fillings to full-mouth rehabilitations. Recognising that dentistry offers many treatment options, he is always happy to sit down with his patients to discuss the benefits and risks of each option, ensuring they can make informed decisions about their oral health.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, including his two cats, exploring scenic cycle routes, and unwinding with a good book.

Tina Ocal is our skilled dental therapist, specializing in placing and extracting fillings in children’s ‘baby’ teeth. She has a proven ability to successfully complete treatments even for non-compliant children in most cases.
Tina began her career as a dental nurse before qualifying as a hygienist and therapist in 2000 at Eastman Dental Hospital. She now works full-time across three local practices, dedicating three days a week to TMA.
Committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements, Tina regularly attends professional courses, including the annual Hygienist Conference in Epsom.
Tina has a son and daughter. She enjoys travelling and her most recent holiday destinations have been Dubai and Thailand.
